Several highlights in responsibility work
In 2024, our responsibility work progressed quite well: our responsibility group regularly monitored the realisation of the responsibility actions proposed by the personnel in 2023 and the responsibility targets defined by the PRH’s management.
We report on the progress of these goals in our corporate responsibility and sustainability report published as part of the PRH’s annual report on 26 May 2025. The report was prepared under the leadership of the Customer Services and Communications result area, and experts from different result areas have participated in its compilation.
Selected highlights from 2024:
- We improved the general responsibility competence of the PRH’s employees by providing training for the entire personnel on the areas of responsibility in accordance with the ESG (environmental, social, governance) framework.
- The job satisfaction and well-being of our personnel and customers remains at a very high level (social responsibility and service responsibility).
- We re-evaluated the PRH’s customer-centred approach with the metrics of the new maturity model (service responsibility).
- We approved the anti-corruption operational programme (financial and administrative responsibility).
- We updated the PRH’s equality plan (social responsibility).
- We received awards for promoting clear and comprehensible communications and our customer experience work (service responsibility).
- We organised a community fair for the PRH’s employees on the PRH day (social responsibility).
In autumn 2024, BDO carried out an internal audit of the PRH’s responsibility work. According to the report, our responsibility work is active, and it is implemented in everyday work through, for example, increasing responsibility awareness.
Similarly, our responsibility report was found to be clear and meet the accessibility criteria. The recommendations made on the basis of the audit will be taken into account in our further work.
The responsibility group monitors the achievement of the objectives
At the PRH, responsibility work is coordinated by the Customer Services and Communications result area, and responsibility measures are the responsibility of the different result areas according to their own competence and responsibilities.
The progress of the agency’s responsibility targets is monitored by a multiprofessional working group consisting of representatives from different units, which I have had the pleasure to chair since 2021.
As I retire in spring 2025, I wish my successor Liinu Lehto luck and perseverance in further work.
