Record number of participants in auditor examinations
A record number of applicants (364) took part in the 2021 auditor examinations, and the number of participants passing the examination also increased significantly from the previous year. We approved a total of 190 examinations and most of them were HT examinations.
Auditor examinations
Approved HT examinations and approved previously incomplete HTM examinations
The number of approved HT examinations and approved previously incomplete HTM examinations increased in auditor examinations: 115 approved in 2021 and 69 approved in 2020.
Approved KHT examinations and approved previously incomplete KHT examinations
The number of approved KHT examinations and approved previously incomplete KHT examinations increased in auditor examinations: 68 approved in 2021 and 55 in 2020.
Approved JHT examinations
The number of approved JHT examinations decreased in auditor examinations: 7 approved in 2021 and 9 in 2020.
Quality of auditing
We made a total of 174 quality control decisions on auditors. In 55 cases, we also promoted a dialogue and impact by conducting discussions with the auditors in question.

The number of authorisations of auditors and audit firms decreased: 95 authorisations in 2021 and 102 in 2020.
Cancellations of authorisations of auditors
The number of cancellations of authorisations of auditors increased: 123 cancellations in 2021 and 105 in 2020.
Quality inspection decisions pertaining
The number of quality inspection decisions pertaining increased significantly: 180 inspections in 2021 and 139 inspections in 2020.
Decisions by Auditor Oversight
The number of decisions by Auditor Oversight increased: 53 decisions in 2021 and 35 in 2020.
Decisions by Audit Board in investigation affairs
The number of decisions by the Audit Board increased significantly: 27 decisions in 2021 and 14 in 2020.
