Tatu and Patu applied for patent from the PRH
Alongside with their many other activities, children’s book characters Tatu and Patu are also prolific inventors. However, until recently, they did not have any patents granted by the PRH.
According to Aino Havukainen and Sami Toivonen, the authors of the Tatu and Patu books, the automatic morning chore machine is by far the most popular of their inventions. The authors would also like to have one in their own household.
Thus, the brothers submitted a patent application for their morning chore machine. After carrying out a thorough examination, PRH experts concluded that the morning chore machine meets the basic requirements for patenting.
To promote patent awareness, Aino Havukainen and Sami Toivonen were happy to authorise the PRH to apply for a patent on behalf of Tatu and Patu. They receive a large number of cooperation proposals, but they only accept the most enticing ones and then always wholeheartedly.
